LGBTQIA+, Belonging, and a Family Constellations Lens

We are pleased to offer this presentation to introduce the unique lens of Family Constellation especially as it relates to belonging. Constellation opens a wide view onto the family system, revealing the broadest context of family dynamics, divisions, and triumphs. Uniquely poised to unveil the common ground of all beings, Family Constellations can offer those who have grown up as outliers — implicitly or explicitly told they don’t belong — a sense of deep belonging, peace, and embrace.

Beyond the limitations of the mothers and fathers (and later teachers, facilitators, therapists)… beyond the narrow, timid hearts so close to home … we envision the an-cestors, those who no longer deal in the fearful chatter and pettiness of judgment. The great-grandmothers and great-grandfathers, back and back into the lineage, holding the space beyond our self-doubt. We are their beautiful, most perfect mes-sage to the future. Outside of the sphere of the great divides, they are no longer caught in the entanglements of the everyday and nearby. The ancestors stand behind all children of the emergent future.

If we were to walk through the fields of the deep past, you and I, we would meet our-selves again and again in our great and powerful diversity among every generation. Every one of us is mirrored, and loved.
